ここでは、アンチエイジング…ポリフェノールの奇跡に関する情報を紹介しています。

　
みなさん、フレンチ・パラドックス（フランスの矛盾）

という言葉をご存知でしょうか？

フランスでは他の先進国と同じように、

脂肪分の多い食事を摂っているにもかかわらず、

フランス人はなぜか動脈硬化性の疾患による死亡率が

群を抜いて少ない！というもの。

専門家たちの研究によって、これはフランス人が好んで飲む、

赤ワインに含まれる”ポリフェノール”という成分

によるものだと分かりました。

今回は”アンチエイジングの切り札”ポリフェノールについて

詳しく説明したいと思います。

ポリフェノールとは、フェノール性水酸基を多数分子内に持つ化合物の総称です。

フェノール性水酸基は、酸化還元電位が低く、

容易に自身が酸化されます。

これが、強力な抗酸化性を示す理由でもあります。

簡単に言えば、

”私たちの細胞やDNAの代わりに、活性酸素に酸化されてくれる”

と言うことです。

つまり、身代わりになってくれる訳ですね。

次に、ポリフェノールの最大の特徴を説明します。

ポリフェノールの他に、強い抗酸化性を示す物質に

ビタミンCやビタミンEがあります。

ビタミンCは水溶性（水に溶ける）なので細胞間の水溶性部分で、

ビタミンEは脂溶性（油に溶ける）なので細胞内の脂溶性部分で

抗酸化作用を発揮します。

このように、それぞれ働く場所が限られています。

ところがポリフェノールの場合、

細胞間でも、細胞内でも、さらには細胞膜上でも力を発揮します。

つまり、ポリフェノールは体内のどんな場所でも

その強い抗酸化力をオールラウンドに発揮することができるのです。

さて、ポリフェノールと一口にいっても、その種類は非常に多く、

ぶどう種子やブルーベリーに含まれるアントシアニン、

りんごポリフェノール、カカオマスポリフェノール、

大豆イソフラボン、カテキンなど枚挙にいとまがありません。

ポリフェノールの抗酸化力のピークが2～3時間であることを考えると、

赤ワインだけをガバガバ飲むなんてことはせず（←でも幸せかも…♪）

ポリフェノールを含む色々な食品をこまめに摂るほうがずっと効果的です。
